    Between the months of August and September 2021, I made one painting a day for 30 continuous days, each measuring 30 x 30 cm, and then I put each of those paintings up for sale as an auction, starting at 30,000 Chilean pesos. This is the result of that idea.

    The second version of the 30x30x30/2 turned out to be a series that aimed to improve the quality of the exercise, by being less strict with the execution time and creating only 15 works in total.

    4 Pounds per piece

    I plan to create 12 paintings inspired by Martin Gusinde's photographic archive. Each of these original paintings will be sold for 4 pounds, referencing Gusinde's account of hunters sending the skulls of murdered Indigenous people to the Anthropological Museum in London, which paid four pounds per head.

    The Jemmy Button Cycle

    In 1830, during an expedition to Tierra del Fuego, Captain Robert FitzRoy took four Fuegians to England: York Minster, Fuegia Basket, Boat Memory, and a Yaghan boy named Orundellico, traded for a mother-of-pearl button and, for that very reason, renamed Jemmy Button. The plan was to educate them in the English manner and return them as interpreters and evangelisers of their own people... Jemmy never came to be English, and had ceased to be Yaghan.
