The tenth edition of PArC, Peru Contemporary Art, will take place between April 19 and 23, 2023. Integrated into the Pinta universe, the most relevant international art fair in Peru is characterized by an ambitious experimental program and a selection of galleries with diverse and more contemporary proposals than ever.
Pinta PArC, positioned among the most relevant cultural exchange platforms in the region, can be visited at Casa Prado (Av. 28 de Julio 878, Miraflores).
PINTA PArC 2023 will feature in the MAIN SECTION with the participation of 45 galleries with great local and international experience, in addition to two sections: SOLO DUO PROJECT curated by Florencia Battiti and the section NEXT, where Florencia Portocarrero presents the proposal of six emerging galleries with relevance within the contemporary scene, focusing on the youngest artistic production in the region.
This year we will also present the MEDIA POINT program, coordinated by Verónica Santalla, where in-person and virtual activities will be scheduled such as interviews with artists, gallery owners and collectors, a Masterclass cycle and Open File videos to learn in detail about the artists’ work.
In addition, the AUDITORIO program will be led by the prestigious curator Miguel López, who proposes an international platform for conversation and debate on the changing dynamics of artistic, curatorial, research, editorial and forms of collecting in Latin America in recent years.
In line with the cultural commitment of Pinta PArC, the most relevant artistic institutions in Lima will offer exhibitions especially in accordance with PArC. In this way, the city’s cultural circuit is activated in a holistic way to offer visitors the most complete local and international experience. The participating institutions are: ICPNA (Peruvian American Cultural Institute), MALI (Lima Museum of Art), MAC (Museum of Contemporary Art), MATE (Mario Testino Museum), Pedro de Osma Museum, LARCO Museum and AMANO Museum, (Museum Pre-Columbian Textile).
