Description

The view leads into a kind of corridor, a tunnel of uncertain perspective. At the far end, a giant sculpture of a head blocks the way; close to us, on the left, a toy figure of Donkey, from Shrek, watches the scene. Between the two stretches a distance that is also a mismatch of scale: the monumental kept far away, the minuscule within reach.

The tunnel works like the corridor of a dream or a museum storeroom: a space of transit where images wait, stripped of context. Along that passage, the colossal head and the plastic toy become equivalent, stations on a single route where cultural memory appears disordered, out of scale and silent.
