30x30x30 is a limited edition book that expands the project of the same name, in which I made daily paintings for 30 days. In other words, it is a beautiful way to finish this small series of works and encapsulate the experience for posterity, which in turn allows the dissemination of these paintings in a quality much higher than their current publication on the web, in addition to maintain its coherence as a project.
Plus, personally, I like books and I like making books :)
The project
Materially, the 30x30x30 publication consists of a 40-page full-color book measuring 16.5 cm high x 14 cm wide, on 110g opaque coated paper. Bound in 270g opaque couché. with matte polylaminate for protection.
Inside you can find official full-color photographs of the paintings, restored and optimized for printing, of the 30 works that made up the 30x30x30 project, along with a small text of my authorship reflecting on the process.
For years before becoming a full-time painter, I worked as an editorial designer, producing a large number of publications for universities, galleries and artists. I also worked as an instructor in the graphic area of related academies and universities, teaching photographic pre-production and editorial software for years.
Today I find this opportunity to combine my work with my technical knowledge in publications, to work on a print tailored to me, maintaining all the technical standards to ensure an impeccable print, but also giving it the stylistic identity that accompanies my work.
