Interestingly, the background of the painting is done in a special color, a super pink color… so pink that it cannot be really captured by the camera, and that is even a bit annoying to the eyes: NEON PINK by Stuart Sample.
I had been saving this color for something special, to use it in a painting where it made sense. Finally, after using it as a base, and inspired by the overwhelming bubblegum scent that comes imbued in the acrylic, I was inspired to make a painting of Belle Delphine on this base.
