This work revisits the tradition of classical sculpture photography, evoking the aesthetics of old art books and museum catalogues, while introducing a fracture into its apparent solemnity.
The fragmented body of the Spinario is combined with the distorted head of Bart Simpson, producing an unexpected convergence between academic canon and popular culture. The image proposes an ironic reflection on the transmission of cultural heritage, where historical reverence coexists with deformation and contemporary simulacrum.
