This painting is based on a work by Francisco de Goya of the same name.
Anecdotally, I want to say that when I was putting together the different toys to make the model for the painting, by pure chance I ended up choosing only McDonald’s toys made in China, all except Bart, who is a complete pirate :) I doubt it means anything , but it is a curiosity that I wanted to mention.
