In the image, a general view of the project “4 Pounds per Piece” is presented, consisting of 12 paintings inspired by the photographic archive of Martin Gusinde. Each of these original paintings was sold for four pounds, referencing Gusinde’s account of how hunters sent the skulls of murdered Magellanic indigenous people to the Anthropological Museum in London, which paid four pounds per head.
Currently studying for the Master’s in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London.
