Mainly because of the position of the characters in the composition and the way in which Saint Anne and The Virgin seem to share their body and limbs, forming a strange Siamese with three hands and three legs.<\/p>\n<p>(Second) I wanted to do it using several toys as a structure (in this case: the heads of Meowth (also a Siamese) and Mario, the body of Tiger, Bart and Agumon) that I digitized using photogrammetry, to reconstruct the pose, as if It was a sculpture&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And (third) in the process I wanted to hide the origin of the characters, see what would happen if I changed their skins and took them away from their original versions and only kept their forms.<\/p>\n<p>and this is the picture :)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The most important thing for me is that this painting works as an exercise on several levels: (First) I wanted to remake a painting that always caught my attention, \u201cThe Virgin and Child with Saint Anne\u201d.
